Simply Spider Support
Classic Spider Solitaire with no ads, no tracking, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Answers to common questions are below, and you can email us at the bottom of the page.
How do I play?
Build runs from King down to Ace in one suit. A finished run leaves the table, and you win when all eight runs are complete. Tap a card to send it to its best spot, or drag it. Tap the stock to deal a new card onto every column.
How do I change the difficulty?
Tap New game, choose 1, 2 or 4 suits, then tap Deal new game. The game in progress keeps its own setting until you deal.
Can I deal when a column is empty?
Yes, by default. To play the classic rule (every column needs a card before you deal), turn off Deal with empty columns in New game, then deal a new game.
Hints and undo
Hint highlights a move you can make; tap it again for the next one. Undo takes back moves and deals. The win screen counts the hints you used.
Personal bests
For each difficulty the app keeps your fewest moves, fastest time and fewest hints. A new best is marked in gold when you win. They are stored only on your device.
Card backs, bigger numbers, table colors and sound
Tap the gear for Settings. Changes apply right away, and the win celebration uses the card back you chose. To make the numbers on the cards bigger, pick Medium or Large under Card numbers; the cards in each column spread out to show them. To play without card sounds, turn off Sound effects there; the Silent switch on your iPhone mutes them too.
Will I lose my game?
No. Your game is saved as you play and is waiting when you come back.
